What a residential visit actually involves
Most homeowners book us for one thing and discover we do several. A typical first visit is carpet through the main living areas and stairs, and it usually takes half a day. We walk the house with you first, agree the rooms and the price, then work room by room so you always have somewhere to be.
- Furniture is moved where it is safe to move it, and put back on protectors while the carpet dries.
- Spots and traffic lanes are pre-treated before extraction rather than hoping one pass lifts them.
- We use hot water extraction, which rinses the cleaning solution back out instead of leaving residue that re-soils quickly.

Drying, and planning around it
Carpet is damp for several hours afterwards and dries more slowly in shore humidity, so allow most of a day before heavy use. Hard floors and tile are quicker. If you are cleaning ahead of guests, a holiday changeover or a house sale, book with a day of slack rather than the morning of.
Homes we look after
We work in year-round homes, second homes, summer rentals and condominium units across Atlantic and Cape May counties. Shore properties have their own pattern: sand, salt air and damp, heavy use for a few months and then months closed up. That is a different maintenance rhythm from a year-round house inland, and it is worth saying so when you call so we can advise on timing.
